The USC Shoah Foundation IWitness site offers educational resources, witness testimonies and practical tools to build resilience to antisemitism and learn about its contemporary and historical manifestations. The site is based on UNESCO and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) guidelines for policymakers on Addressing Antisemitism Through Education, and a set of four framework curricula for trainers of primary education teachers, secondary education teachers, vocational education teachers, and school directors. In March 2024, the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Council of American Jewish Museums (CAJM) brought together more than 100 leaders from museums, archives, and libraries committed to making a difference across communities for the summit, Museums Respond: Strategies for Countering Antisemitism and Hate. Click here for the resulting Field Guide which provides museums and educators with approaches, themes, and tools for addressing antisemitism.
In May 2023, the Biden-Harris Administration released the first-ever U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism. This strategy includes over 100 new actions the Administration will take to raise awareness of antisemitism and its threat to American democracy, protect Jewish communities, reverse the normalization of antisemitism, and build cross-community solidarity.
