Spring 2021 Internships & Fellowships—Deadline Extended to 1/20/2021
The Harriet and Kenneth Kupferberg Center (KHC) is accepting applications for one student curatorial fellow and two student curatorial interns for the spring 2021 semester. Applications are due January 20, 2021.
Student Curatorial Fellowship
Applicants should be a current QCC student or a recent QCC graduate from the museum and gallery studies, art and design, liberal studies or history departments, or a related discipline. During the spring 2021 semester, the curatorial fellow will research material to be included in the online Library Guide that is connected to the KHC’s previous exhibition, Survivance and Sovereignty on Turtle Island: Engaging with Contemporary Native American Art. This includes identifying appropriate websites, texts, videos, and other multimedia sources of interest to QCC’s students and faculty. Student Curatorial Internship
Applicants should be enrolled in museum and gallery studies, art and design, liberal studies, history, or a related discipline. During the spring 2021 semester, the interns will review select KHC past exhibition catalogs to determine the best content to be showcased on the KHC’s website, as well as conduct other curatorial assignments as directed.
