Roger Darcissac was the director of the public school of Le Chambon who refused to turn over a list of Jewish students. Arrested with Pastor Trocmé and Theis, he was taken to the internment camp at St. Paul d’Eyjeaux. When his son, Marco, visited the men with Nelly Trocmé, he snuck in a camera and gave it to Roger, who took pictures of the camp and the conditions.
