Oscar Rosowsky - A Jewish refugee in Le Chambon who was an expert in making fake papers. Rosowsky made upwards of fifty fake identity cards per week, hiding his tools in beehives. His own fake ID said his name was “Jean-Claude Plunne.” He also made a number of “plausibility papers,” so that in the event of an identity check, there were a number of papers with the fake name on them.
