Daniel Trocme was Pastor Trocmé’s cousin, who came to Le Chambon to manage some of the houses including Les Grillons and La Maison des Roches. On June 29, 1943, he was at Les Grillons when the Gestapo came to raid La Maison des Roches. He insisted on going with the students who were arrested. He died in Majdanek in 1944.
