America’s Jewish & African-American communities have a long history of mutual respect & friendship, marching together in pursuit of civil rights. This uplifting concert features Yiddish & English songs by Jewish and African-American artists expressing lament and protest against racism and antisemitism, and hope for a brighter future. Featured artists include Elmore James, Lisa Fishman, Cantor Magda Fishman, Tony Perry, Zalmen Mlotek, and the Shireinu Choir. Click here to see a preview of the show.

A cocktail reception before the performance will honor Mark Kupferberg in support of the Queensborough Community College’s Harriet and Kenneth Kupferberg Holocaust Center (KHC).
